What happens when elegance wants to be textured, not loud, but unforgettable?

That was the creative intention behind LAUD Pulse’s AW22 collection. The brand was emerging into the market with sharp vision and quiet confidence but needed a conceptual and visual world that could hold both heritage and high design.

The Ask:

Establish a visual and emotional identity for LAUD Pulse’s new collection, one that holds conceptual clarity and style-forward storytelling, while speaking to an audience seeking both meaning and modernity.

My Response:

Through the Brand World Genesis process, I built a mood-led narrative system that translated LAUD Pulse’s values into form, flow, and frequency.

We began with brand soul-mapping, defining the collection’s emotional range, from sonic references to subtle ancestral cues. That clarity shaped the lookbook art direction, editorial pacing, and styling language, weaving a story that felt editorial yet rooted.

The design language was intentional, drawing from Afro-minimalism, tonal richness, and textures that whispered rather than shouted. Each visual was placed to honour rhythm, body, and atmosphere.

Outcome:

The collection launched with a cohesive identity - sharp, still, and culturally resonant. The strategy decks became working tools for internal clarity and visual collaboration, helping LAUD Pulse show up with consistency across digital, editorial, and campaign spaces. Their story is now felt as much as it is seen.
